How it works

1

Paste your link

Your restaurant menu, your Instagram profile, your Google reviews page, or your wifi network. You can also generate a wifi QR without typing any link.

2

Customize the design

Pick colors, dot shape, and add your logo or an emoji in the center. The preview updates instantly.

3

Download your QR

As an image (PNG or SVG) for digital use and flat printing, or as a 3MF file ready for your 3D printer, with the colors already assigned to each part.

Ideas for your QR code

Restaurants and bars

A table stand with your digital menu, no more handling worn-out paper menus.

Google reviews

The classic “leave us a review” on a table stand or a wall plaque by the entrance.

Keychains for events

Weddings, fairs or conferences: a QR keychain linking to the photo album or the event program.

Wifi for stays

Hotels, vacation rentals and Airbnbs: a plaque with the wifi ready to scan, no need to spell out the password.

Shops and stores

Link your online catalog, your Google Business listing, or your social media at the counter.

Artists and makers

A keychain or plaque linking to your portfolio, online shop, or social profile for fairs and markets.

A QR code designed to be 3D printed

Most QR code generators only give you a flat image. 3D QR Generator goes further: it turns your code into a physical, two-color object, with the exact same design you see on screen — rounded dots, corners, and your logo included — carved in relief. The file you download is a 3MF, the format used by Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer, or Cura to automatically recognize which part of the model goes in each color, without you having to assign materials by hand.

For the printed code to scan reliably, we take care of two things: the contrast between the base color and the QR color, and the module size (each little square in the code). The tool warns you if the contrast is too low or if the module falls below 1.5 mm, the point at which the nozzle starts rounding off details and the code stops reading well.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install anything or create an account?

No. The tool runs directly in your browser, no sign-up required. The QR code and the 3D model are generated on your own device.

What is the 3MF file, and why not just download an STL?

3MF is the modern format used by slicer software (Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer, Cura). Unlike STL, it stores BOTH colors inside the file itself: when you open it, each part (the base and the raised QR code) is already assigned to its color, no manual setup needed. If your printer or slicer is older, you can also download an STL version (two separate parts).

Will the 3D-printed code actually scan?

Yes, as long as you use two colors with good contrast (one light, one dark) and a module size of at least 1.5 mm. The tool warns you in real time if the contrast or size aren't enough for reliable scanning.

Can I add my business logo?

Yes. You can upload your logo or pick an emoji: it's placed in the center of the QR code, and in the 3D version it becomes a single-color silhouette that prints in relief alongside the code.

What 3D printer do I need?

Any printer with filament switching or an AMS/multicolor system will print the object with its two colors automatically from the 3MF file. A single-color printer can also print it (for example with a manual filament change at the height your slicer indicates), or you can paint the two colors afterward.

How long does it take to print?

It depends on the size and your printer, but a keychain or a table stand usually prints in 30-90 minutes with standard settings.

Can I generate a QR code for my business wifi?

Yes, choose “Wifi” mode, enter the network name and password, and the QR code will automatically connect your customers' phones when scanned.

Is my data (links, wifi) sent to any server?

No. The entire process — generating the QR code, building the 3D model, and exporting the files — happens in your browser. We don't upload your content anywhere.
